What Does Hot Air Ballooning Feel Like?
Hot air balloons are unique from all other forms of flight because there is no physical sensation of movement or perception of wind. You are traveling with the gentle air currents that layer the sky. In contrast to standing on a building or structure, there is no fear of height, because your eyes have no linear perspective to judge distance from the ground. Balloons usually travel at heights of 500 to 1500 feet, similar to the surrounding hill tops. The feeling is one of peace and tranquility as the earth seems to slowly descend and rotate below you. Within moments after lifting off, you become completely at ease while you effortlessly drift over the treetops and float over the countryside in gentle panoramic harmony with nature.

Safe Personalized Service: You are welcome to participate "hands on" with the set-up inflation and deflation of your hot air balloon.
Our uniformed balloon pilots, averaging 35 years experience, are all FAA certified flight instructors and are condsidered to be the most qualified professionals in this region. Our fleet of Cameron Balloons
is the newest and safest luxury aircraft available in the world today,
featuring secure, high sided, separated passenger compartments,
designed to comfortably hold no more than 2 to 5 people with
added stability and excellent, unobstructed views.
Private Parties can also be accommodated in any one of our
aircraft which are designed to carry a total of only 2 or 8-10 or even
up to 16+ passengers. These larger baskets allow the balloon pilot
to operate from a separate compartment along with the fuel system,
providing much less interference with passenger comfort.

What's Included: The whole hot air balloon ride experience takes at least 3 to 4 hours with approximately 1 to 1.5 hours of actual flight time. We'll meet at a quaint cafe that's easy to find, located just one hour north of San Francisco off Hwy 101. After the flight we'll return to our gourmet cafe for a champagne brunch, made to order with a full menu of items to choose from. You may also choose to 'take-out' your brunch to a beautiful winery setting such as Trentadue or Fetzer Wineries, but our favorite location is the Kendall Jackson Wine Center.

Special Events, Weddings, Hotel and B & B Packages: Our event coordinator can arrange catering meeting and banquet facilities for your convenience or find you charming accommodations. Our chief pilot is a minister and can perform hot air balloon wedding ceremonies aloft or on the ground before launch. We can provide flowers and birthday cakes to surprise your guest. Our videographer can customize an edited DVD video of your balloon flight experience. We offer a private balloon experience for 2, 8 or even 16+ persons.

Ask about a private special event where we can provide a tethered balloon at your own location.

We can create a banner (with your photo) attached to the basket to commemorate your day!
